Access
We are dedicated to making sure that our museum is open and accessible for everybody, and whilst we have worked hard to improve our facilities, there is still more to be done. If you have any questions concerning disabled access to the museum during your visit, please don't hesitate to contact the staff.
We're happy to listen to any ideas and suggestions you may have for improvements.
Entrance
Entry to the building is easy via our ground level disabled entrance, equipped with an automatic door opener and lift. Just ring the doorbell for service.
Disabled Parking
There is a reserved disabled parking space a few metres from the entrance.
Wheelchair
There is an extra wheelchair available at the reception.
Portable seating
Lightweight folding stools can be found in Ljudrummet (The Sound Room), they can be used for support when walking and be taken and used anywhere in the building.
Toilet
There is a disabled toilet with an alarm, and enough space for a wheelchair and a helper.
Telephone.
Disabled visitors cam borrow a telephone from the reception.
Lifts
All the floors are reachable by the lifts, which have automatic door openers.
Braille
There are Braille texts in The Sound Room.
Allergies
To avoid problems for people with allergies, we do not use perfumed cleaning products or materials and we have no highly perfumed plants. We ask all our visitors to help us and our allergic visitors by not wearing strong perfumes or aftershave.
Tours for visitors with special requirements.
You are welcome to book a tour! We can accommodate groups with impaired vision, that are restricted to wheelchairs or have other disabilities.
