 MIMO

EXHIBITIONS, COLLECTIONS, CONCERTS, ETC.

The museum is much more than a collection of musical instruments. Here you can experience many different aspects of music – musical instruments, different musical genres, music as our cultural heritage, etc.
Our exhibitions often mirror various social phenomena – with music as a sounding board, of course!

Our activities are connected to our current exhibitions – concerts, debates, lectures, and so on.

The museum promotes concerts for both children and adults.

Our educational activities include viewings for both schools and for mentally disabled. We help children to build instruments and host open musical play activities.

Backstage, the museum buzzes – we collect and care for instruments, art and other items with musical connections. Our curators also act as experts in various contexts – not least for the general public when time permits.

The museum also publishes books/booklets and cd records.
